Hi,
I have purchased the Intel Core (i5 3470S 2.90Ghz to 3.6Ghz with Turbo Boost with Motherboard and M-Atx case) worth 110 US Dollars, i was to get 3470 3.2ghz but due to unavailability i had to get 3470S, the prices of the Motherboard and Case are included with the CPU, what is the performance difference between these two processors?
So did i get a good System worth the money for gaming or not?
and which affordable GPU would give me the better performance with this setup.

3470 is the standard version. 3470S is the low-power version. Max Turbo is identical, but that's with only 1 core in use; as the 2nd, 3rd & 4th cores come into play, the 3470S has slightly lower Turbo ceilings.

In terms of real-world performance, you probably won't see a whole lot of difference -- stock speeds are very close (3.2GHz for the 3470 vs. 2.9GHz for the 3470S), as are the Turbos for all 4 cores (3.4 GHz vs. 3.2GHz).
