Intel Core i5 6400 Bottleneck and questions

Hi guys

im looking to buy a pre built system for my fiance it contains 8gb ram and it has a i5-6400 im looking to put a gtx 1050ti in but A. will my cpu bottleneck my gpu? also how is this system for gaming, i use a i7 with a 1060 and ive lost touch with what runs on older systems any info would be great. this pre built system is 400 and ill drop a 100 pound gpu in for time and cost.
