Hello,
Currently, I own an itel core i5 750 processor, which seems to be very cool, but, lately, I've thinking about changing to AMD, everybody I talk to about it says that AMD is way better for gaming. I would really want to know if the AMD I'm interested in, the phenom x6 1090t, has better, or the same, or even worse performance than my current cpu.
So, can anybody tell me which one is the best?
(I was thinking about getting a bulldozer 8150, but it seesms, according to what I've read on internet, that that one is not as good as it was expected)

no, that's other thing, my current cpu is not overclocked whatsoever, my plan was, after buying the amd 1090t, get the corsair h80, so I could be completely confident at the time of making the overclock, right now I don't want to overclock my rig. do you think it's better to simply overclock this i5 750 with th corsair h80 installed?

you mean the default cpu fan?
or which one do you recommend me, not as expensive as the h80 rig

The i5 750 may just about edge it on synthetics but is on a dead socket so you will have no future upgradability.

If you stay with Intel then look at a new Z77 and IB processor setup, or if you want to go AMD then look at a 990FX mobo with a $160 FX 8120.

Expensive depending on the OP's budget. Do you actually have performance issues OP, or are you considering the upgrade "just because"?
