Intel Core i5 7500 Need Help

Hello guys, I need some help. So I just bought an Intel i5 7500 and it seems that I need the correct motherboard and ram to go along with it. My FX 6300 is holding back my GTX 1060 so I am upgrading.

They will work together, but don't buy a z270 board unless you plan on getting a 7700k at some point, otherwise it's a waste of money on features you can't use. Get a B250 chipset board. Also i'd suggest getting a single 8GB stick rather than a 4x2 kit, will make upgrading easier in the future and the difference in speed is negligible.

For that i5-7500 you will want to pair it with either a B250 or H270 motherboard. The Z270 motherboards are made to be paired with a K series CPU for overclocking. The RAM you picked would work fine.
