Intel core i5 vs A mD FX-6300.

I already read a lot od posts related to this inquire, but because im out of the US, prices here are different.
I have 3 options
1. FX-6300 $140 without guarantee + Mobo Asrock 970 pro 3 $115 with G
2. FX-6300 $140 without G + Asus M5a97 $140 without G
3. Core i5 3330 $240 with G + H61 or H81 gigabyte mobos around $80 with G
I have a VC hD-5770 (i know is old)

the i5 will usually perform better, but if that is too much then the other 2 are just fine.

Well 1 &3 are priced different & wouldnt recommend 2 for without guarantee unless you plan on new build soon. Well if this doesn't helps then try some benchmarks & go through threads again for performance comparison. Feel free to ask further & choose a solution or post one for others.

I guess resuming, which is better amd for 265 or intel for $320?

I dont think i need to say 1.
Or try another i series of somewhat similar performance lower price as amd though they are generally costlier here than the amd counterparts.

best bang for your buck would be the fx 6300 and the asrock board, because it has a guarantee.

And which mobo do u think is better for the FX, the asrock 970 pro 3 for $115 or the asrock 980de3/u3s3 for $100?

both are good, so the Asrock 970 pro 3 is better because it is cheaper and has a guarantee.

FX is always better fx 6300 and below. The only time intel gets better is when you move into i5 3rd gen k series and up. Other then that the best bang for your buck will be amd. As far as guarantee goes what guarantee are you refering to. Like an it works guarantee? If so then always go with the one with a gaurantee because with out one im willing to bet they sell you a broken board just becaues they can.

Without guarantee because i will buy the items from amazon or newegg and is costly to send them back in a case of malfunction

i3s are competitive until you realize it 2 vs 6 cores. IMO theres no reason to pay that much for a dual core when you could have a 6 core. The argument is that the i3 is better in most games which is true. The second you want to run multiple things or stream though the fx 6300 laughs at the i3. Also they do not have an unlocked i3.

Sounds better having 6 vs 2 cores, the problem im having now is deciding for the best mobo option.
The asrock 978 pro for $115 or the asus m5a78 used for $40.
Both of them are not that good, cuase neither of them has heatsink for the vrm.

I personally would not worry about. You can buy a VRM heatsink for it if you want to. I have a cheapo MB the msi 760gm-p23. Im running a 4.3ghz fx 6300 in it without any issues. I don't think you would have any issues unless you overclocked heavily.

The asrock 980DE3/u3s3 for 99$
Or the asrock 970 pro for $$130

I really dont care about OC or sli
