Intel Core i7-3770K Ivy Bridge 3.5GHz end of the line?

Solution
Ok in socket 1155 for gaming I would have to say that the Intel® Core™ i5-3570K is the better gaming processors since so few games will use more than 4 threads. For this reason the Intel Core i5-3570K can clock up to the same clock speed and does have hyper-threading that you won't be using.

Now as to the question of releasing a new socket 1155 processor? I havent seen anything in the roadmaps but we don't always release future products on the roadmaps. I would think that if we were going to release a new socket 1155 Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 we would have done it before the Christmas buying season was in force; just like we did with the Intel Core i7-3970X Extreme Edition.
Maybe I should be a little more specific. I'm talking in regards to gaming.
I'm looking for the last word in socket 1155, Ivy bridge processors.
Is the i7-3770K the best one out now?
Also, is there likely to be anything better coming or is this the end of the road for this chipset?
