hello i have an asus P7P55D-E LX motherboard and i wanna know can i upgrade to Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz or do i have to get a new mobo

Need a new mobo. That is a 1156 socket, Haswell uses 1150.

Nope you can't and Yes, you will need a new 1150 socket mobo, sorry 🙁

You will have to purchase a new motherboard. That is a socket 1156, the 4770 and all the new haswell CPUs are socket 1150.

i have an i5 760 2.8ghz should i upgrade ?
cause i got an nvidia gtx 780 and i think the i5 is weak for the 780
what do u think guys?

Have you OCed the 760 yet, they generally have a lot of OC headroom

no havent oced my 760 but im afraid that the processor is too weak for the gpu
not getting much of a frame difference to my old gtx480
