hey guys.
I own a x79 mobo with i7 4820k and looking to get Intel Core i7-5930K, but I don`t want to get an x99 motherboard with ram and everything, couldn`t find much info regarding this, so I have to ask would haswell - E fit into x79 motherboard?, since I won`t be upgrading this platform for a while and I do alot of rendering, video producing, so it would be nice to game while the converting, rendering is happening at the background, since the 2 extra cores will kinda help with that, and will carry me over to 2017 when intel x110 with core i9 7860x 😉 or something similar lol

damn son!! :) alright thanks alot guys, I`ll probably grab a core i7 4960x when it goes down in price, or just get a used one down the line, or just stick to the 4820, sooooo not worth buying a whole package mobo, ram processor at this time.

the 4820k is still a solid cpu with a few more years of potential.

Definitely don't risk buying a used 4960 x. Just save up and wait for prices to come down (Im sure they will). Used, especially for such an expensive CPU always carries its own risks that don't outweigh the cheaper price. CPUs are the last thing I would buy used.

noted :) might as well just stick with the 4820k, I mean heck I see people with I7 960 which is now 5 years old are still doing pretty good with them, in terms of everything, when I looked it up the other day found out i7 4770k is about 30-40% faster than a 5 years old processor lol !!! so yup I`m good for few more years.
