I don't know anymore what I should do. Really frustrated with this issue because I have tried many different things.

I'm helping out a friend, and he bought exactly the same parts, mobo, cpu, psu, ram etc, except for the case. My computer runs like a dream, and I even tested his videocard on my mobo to see if that is the problem.

Red light on the CPU LED comes on static, and no video on the display. Everything else like fans and LEDs on the fans are working as it should.

have tried the taking out the RAM, using only one, different slots too.

and yes, the CPU is set in the correct way, and there are no pins bent, because this is a Intel Core i7-6700K skylake, = no pbendable pins.

Solution

them pin is on the mobo, not the cpu. did you...

Entire specs?

Red light on the CPU LED comes on static, and no video on the display. Everything else like fans and LEDs on the fans are working as it should.

Are these the only problems?

and yes these are the only problems.... I can't see any other issue on the computer except for the display (BenQ 32" 4K LED BL3201PT
3840x2160 UHD-IPS, 4ms, 20m:1, Speakers, Pivot, DVI/2xHDMI/DP) not showing any image (display not found).

also have tested the integrated GPU on the mobo to see if the problem was on the graphic card.... nothing happens, and there is no connection to the monitor detected.

I've tested his EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Founders Edition on my computer (same as mine) and it worked very well.

yes, that monitor is actually mine, I am just using it to test. It works fine on my computer :)

His monitor is a smaller one, but I have one of the same kind aswell and I have tested it on his computer and it still the same issue.

I think I will have to test my processor on his mobo, and the other way around to see if it a DOA issue here...

also tried DVI, HDMI and DP cables... still no video :/ what bugs me is that LED CPU... the manual says that it is a error (duh) but nothing what kind of error it is...

them pin is on the mobo, not the cpu. did you check the mobo?
