Hi I'm thinking of getting a Intel Core i7 7700K I'm not gonna overclock it right now(probably gonna do it in the future) will the be quiet! Pure Rock Slim be enough to cool the CPU with stock clock speed?

Thanks :)

Solution
Should be about the same as a Cryorig H7. I'm using the H7 on mine and it is sufficient, barely. Typically stays above 70C under load with spikes up to 80C in demanding games. Prime95 hit 86C max with 81C average core temp. I can actually lower the voltage and get slightly better temps.

While 86C is hot it is not dangerous. The CPU has a limit of 100C before it starts to throttle to prevent damage.

Here is an Intel Temperature Guide - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1800828/intel-temperature-guide.html

I was in the same situation as you with my Cryorig H7. I already had it but wanted to get the 7700K. After time when I feel the need to overclock I will upgrade to better cooling.

If you want something better there is the Dark Rock 3 and the Dark Rock Pro 3, as long as they fit in your case.
