I was just browsing around as usual and I came across this:

This thing scores as much as my 8 Core 16 Thread Xeon, damn.

No shock. Marginally faster than an i7-6700K due to clocks, and the rest is probably just the testbed system.

Once the i7-7700K launches it's going to be very underwhelming. I expect figures very or exactly similar to an i7-6700K@4.2gHz.

Good CPU, but indeed it's only better than the i7 6700k, because it's clocked a bit higher, put it on the same frequency and results will be the same.
