Just bought i7 8700k but I am concerned about which cooler should I buy liquid cooler(then which one) or air cooler? btw I have already got hyper 212x ?

Rest of the specs are:
Asus z370 e mobo
Corsair ddr4 16gb lpx 3000mhz
Samsung 960 evo 500gb
Antec 550w psu
Asus Gtx 970
Nzxt h500i case
and I live in India ( budget for cooler- $200)
Is it fine if I stay with the one I have currently?

If you do not plan to overclock, then you can continue using the Evo 212. Once you decide to overclock, then it's recommended to upgrade the cooler, because you won't get anywhere far with that Evo.

There are some options, Cryorig h5 is a good air cooler, that will get you decent performance. But this is a budget friendly unit.
Otherwise there are other coolers from noctua such as d15 which is pretty good.
With liquid coolers, you need to spend around 100$ before you get to the good stuff (accounting for your price difference, in North America It's around 75$ to get a good one)
