Hello,

I just read an O'C thread in overclock.net and it stated that the Intel Core i7 920 has a maximum multiplier of 21x instead of the normal 20x in the "Key Terms and Settings Quick Guide:" -> "CPU Multiplier"

On the 920 the range is from 12x – 21x (22x on one core when at stock speeds). It has been found that the 19x and 21x multipliers are more stable than the 20x.

Now I'm a little confused on the i7 920's multiplier. I have an ASUS P6TD Deluxe motherboard if that would help a little.

You can get 21x on the i7 920. 22x (IIRC is the max) and 20x is the default.

So all the rumours I've heard about people overclocking their i7 920 using a 21x multiplier have an Engineering Sample. Is there a BIOS hack that will enable HT on all cores and lock the 21x Multiplier?
