I recently built a gaming pc a few months ago. specs are as follows:
CPU: Intel Core i7 9700k (no overclock)
GPU: Zotac RTX 2080 amp extreme (no overclock)
RAM: corsair rgb pro 2666mhz 16gb (no overclock)
Storage: Samsung 860 evo 500gb
MB: Asus z390-e Strix
My question is regarding if overclocking is worth it or not. I want my pc to be able to run any game on high settings for the next year to year in a half. Will installing another rtx 2080 in nvlink and overclocking the ram and CPU help out "much". Or will it only be beneficial in a small increment.
Another question I had was cooling efficiency, what temps should my CPU be at under heavy load while gaming.
