Intel Core I7 clock lower then it should be.

So i have this laptop with an intel core I7-4700HQ
Its normal clock speed is at 2.4Ghz, with turbo it goes at 3.2

My friends has the same exact processor in his laptop and it goes to 3.4

And on intel's website it says that my processor goes to 3.4

Why does my laptop only goes to 3.2?

My laptop is an asus rog G550J
Intel Core I7-4700HQ
8Gb ram @ 1600Mhz
Nvidia Gtx 850m 2Gb
120Gb Kingston Ssd

when i check my clock speed its at 3.2 but my friends laptop is at 3.4
is there a way to make it to 3.4?

The turbo speed for 1-2 cores is 3.4ghz, but the turbo speed for 3-4 cores is 3.2ghz. This is normal.

it is normal but why is it only showing 3.2?
its weird because on my friends laptop he has almost the same specs as me, same processor but his goes to 3.4 when he checks his clock speed.
is there a way i could make it go up to 3.4?

Anytime 3 or 4 cores are being used, 3.2ghz is the max. Anytime only 1 or 2 cores are being used, 3.4ghz is the max

Your specific laptop might not be able to obtain 3.4ghz clock speeds due to temperature issues on 2 cores.

but on my i7 3630qm suddenly core speed became 1197,14 !!
normally it was 2,4,IPDT show "base clock test -FAIL". why,what is the reason and what to do?
