[SOLVED] Intel Core i9-10900X and 1660

Solution
The 1660 is more than maxed out/saturated at 1080P by far lesser CPUs...(Likely anything R5-2600 and above all gives similar average FPS, with faster CPUs effectively capped with medium entry level GPUs)

I'd take the 1 FPSaverage fame hit with the R5-3600 /B450 combo and save $800-$1000 or so..?

Pure gaming, the 9900K still rocks, but, likely shines best with RTX2080 and above, etc...

How the 10900K will fare could be another story entirely..., or, it is equally possible an extra 200 MHz will only deliver a 1% boost at best; but I have a hard time envisioning the 10 core offerings as being the new 'must have'/'9900K' unless a price drop comes with it...

How this processor will come to its peak performance in a system with 1660. I would hate to get a bottleneck. I'd rather go for a more budgetwize CPU?
Event the best systems can bottleneck in certain circumstances, dont get too hung up on 'Bottlenecks'. You want a balanced system for your budget and your needs. If this is a gaming build what resolution and Hz will your monitor be? What is the budget?
