What's up everybody? I just wanted to know... What is the best Intel Core i7 Processor that won't destroy my wallet? I went to the Intel website and got a lot of good content. Lemme know which is best for an ASUS or HP laptop for less than $700! Anything helps! Here's the processors:

The cpu may not the best place to focus on for you money. In many windows applications a i5 with a SSD will be much faster than a i7 with a HDD.

What is an SSD?

Solid State drive. Uses fast storage chips rather than a mechanical spinning disk like a Hard Disk Drive.

In general windows usage for most people, its the single biggest performance improvement.
