Intel CPU itself and its integrated GPU are on separate chips on motherboad? If I somehow fry the built in CPU graphics card, my processor also get affected by this? Thinking to play a game without my normal graphics card and only with built in graphics card inside of my CPU. (I already enabled from the BIOS, there was a option to enable both) I want to see what my Intel graphics card can do also it's performance temps etc. It is a HD 4600 with latest drivers.

Thanks

The iGPU is inside the CPU package on the same die, but it is independent from the CPU as you noticed the CPU can work with the iGPU disabled, so even if it was fried it would be like being disabled.
That said I never heard about an iGPU frying or dying in any way.
