Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, let me know if this isn't .
I have doubts regarding Intel cpu warranty. I have gone thru the net and found out there is no registration or whatsoever to cpu warranty, if that is true, then how Intel knows when our cpu warranty start from? If it is something to be done by the seller, is it possible to ask the seller not to report/register/ to Intel, so I can report/register only when my cpu has problem after 3 years (start the warranty whenever I want)? Given the seller is my close friend.
Sorry for bad English and sorry if I'm asking dumb question.

More than likely, when you attempt to file a warranty claim for an Intel processor, you will be asked to provide proof of purchase, often in the form on a purchase receipts (which includes the purchase date).

Asking for ways to circumvent the warranty process constitutes fraud and is not permitted on Tom's Hardware. Discontinue any such discussions.
