Intel D975XBX Booting Issues

So I'm having trouble with this board. I tried putting a q9300 in it and it won't even go to the BIOS. I read that you could update the BIOS and it would bypass to let you use quad CPUs on the board. 🙁

The MB, Intel D975XBX, does not support the q9300 ( any 1333MHz FSB CPU) http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards/000005588.html Sorry, if you want to use the q9300, buy other MB.
