Question Intel dh61ww and Intel 3rd gen I5 processor compatibility

Hi Everyone,

Currently, I have i3 2120 with Intel dh61ww motherboard. I am thinking of upgrading my CPU to an Intel i5 2500 or 3470.

But I am not sure whether I have to update the bios of the motherboard to support i5 3rd processors.

Here is the bios version of mine currently: BEH6110H.86A.0109.2012.1221.1455, 12/21/2012

Would appreciate some help. Thanks.

Thank you for your comment. Well, I saw that the motherboard supports the i5 3rd gen processers but not sure whether the current bios version would support or do I need to update the bios. That's my confusion.
