News Intel discontinues Unison app for connecting PCs and smartphones

The app sounds interesting. I got an apple called LocalSend recently to fill the file sharing role. I don't remember ever seeing Unison, and that is probably a reason to stop developing it.

I've been using Phone Link on Windows daily for years. It's running right now on an additional monitor. Just the sheer convenience of being able to quickly reply to a text without picking up your phone (and using a full-sized keyboard to do it) makes it worth setting up.

I didn't even know Intel had a competing product.

Phone Link is probably the better app out of the two. I am using Unison and it does disconnect occasionally, on the other hand I seem to recall Phone Link requires signing in with a Microsoft account when starting Windows.
