Hi,
Anyone got DQ35JO to work properly with XP?
Looks like Intel DQ35Jo isn't AHCI XP Pro compatible. I have tried every trick to F6 install XP pro, which all ended with bluescreen
My previous thread : Intel DQ35JOE mobo F6 setup fails from Chipsets & Bios.
I have unsuccessfully tried to create a slipstreamed XP installation CD and unattended installation CD of AHCI SATA drivers, to install without floppy.
And finally from Intel web site- use IDE instead of AHCI!
That likely this mobo works only in IDE mode, but why the heck I buy latest technolgy if I can't use it!!!

My Windows XP operating system does not install on my 3 Series Chipset Desktop Board (DG33BU, DG33FB, DG33TL, DP35DP)? New!
Please follow the below steps:
Re-boot the system and enter the BIOS by pressing F2 at the BIOS splash screen
From inside the BIOS, select the 'Advanced' tab
Next select the 'Drive Configuration' option
Scroll down to 'Configure SATA as' option and press enter
Select IDE to change the setting from AHCI
Press F10 to exit saving changes, and 'Y' to confirm the changes
Your Window XP operating system should now load on to your desktop system.
