intel drivers problem

Hi, so i recently got a new pc and i am installing intel drivers, and on the website it says there are 7th gen drivers available but the highest ones are 6th gen. So I am wondering if 6th gen would be okay to use rather than 7th

I dont understand what you mean by 6th and 7th gen drivers,

What is your motherboard, what is the operating system your using x32/x64 bits and what driver are you looking for (for what hardware)?

7th =i7700k 6th=i7700, i am saying could i install the 6th gen one instead of the 7th gen.

psst I7-7700 and I7-7700K is the same generation … the 7th. 6th cpu are i7-6700K, again what intel drivers are you trying to install, there are no CPU drivers.

I am trying to install Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) User Interface and Driver

I meant i7 6700k, so would I be able to use the 6th gen on an i7700k. Sorry for confusion.

again, what motherboard are you using, the IRST is motherboard based
