MOBO has PCI Express x16 slot and also it currently holds the XFX AMD Radeon HD 6800 series 2GB VRAM GPU.
The 1050Ti GPU has 4GB VRAM and it has a dual fan.

Is the new GPU compatible with the current MOBO?

Nvidia cards are compatible with any pcie x16 slot on any mobo made in the last 14 or so years. The only pcie x16 they are not compatible with is pcie 1.0 (16 years ago) as those cards had a different power distribution. Nvidia has used the same pcie power delivery since pcie 1.1.
