Our CPU reviewer Paul Alcorn found that APO provides these enhancements by adjusting thread affinities manually to boost performance on the fly.

Software doesn't have hands so it can't be doing it manually, it can be hand picked by the developers though.

Also, nice that they finally support every CPU from the 12th gen upwards.
