For the price, it's a great processor and it cannot be doubted. However "your mileage may vary" depending on the games you play; certain games will require higher specifications, whereas the Intel Pentium (G2030) is only a dual-core with no Hyper-Threading (HT, i.e. virtual cores.) Games are now beginning to utilise more cores and threads, so an i3 is often recommended, as they have 2 cores and 4 threads, as a result of HT. With more threads, your OS will see it as more cores.
Regardless, you should still be able to load and play most games without issues IMO (again depending on the game.) Tie this in with a decent graphics card, and I believe you should be good to go. Personally however, I don't expertise in GPU's so I can't assist...
