Intel G4400 Or Intel G3258

okay so im gonna be building a secondary gaming computer which in most cases will just stream games from my main rig but when i cant do that its gotta be able to play games on its own. I'm leaning more so to the g3258 simply cause its a slightly faster cpu and when it overclocked its way faster. My reason for possibly going with th g4400 is to just get me on the LGA1151 socket and on a better upgrade path. In the end i dont know what i should go for cause i know that skylake is not that much faster than brodwell/Haswell.

I'd go with the G3258. I have one in an HTPC with a GTX 950, and it streams in 1080p from my 5930k just fine.

The G4400 is only better if you need integrated graphics. If you are getting a discrete card the G3258 easily overclocks past the relatively small IPC gains of Skylake.
