Question Intel H55 MB Ami Bios settings for HyperX fury HX318c10F/8

Hello,
I have a Intel H55 mb with intel 650 i5 processor, I recently bought a HyperX Fury Hx318C10F/8 Ram to install on my board but when I install it, it crashes when trying to boot the os. the mb automatically sets the ram to 1333mhz. can you guys please help me set the memory settings (tcl tras etc) manually so I can see if it works that way?

Your default ram speed for the i5 processor is 1333mhz. Your memory requires 1.5 volts. Is your memory getting that amount? What model computer do you have and full specs plz.

Yes I can see that, But on the bios I can only select one value for the tCL. so I tried setting tCl to 8 but it didnt work. I'm not sure what values to put in tRAS, tRP and other options

My PC came with 2 kingston 1.5 volt rams.

The settings I need to set in bios when I set configure DRAM Timing by SPD to [MANUAL] are :
DRAM tCL
DRAM tRAS
DRAM tRP
DRAM tRCD
DRAM tWR
DRAM tRRD
DRAM tRTP
DRAM tFAW

You aren't trying to install the new ram in with the old ram are you?

First off your older ram should have been in slot 2 and 4. I recommend installing the 8 gb stick in slot 2 and see if it posts up on auto.

What is the make of your computer? Specs would help a lot. I have to go to my grandchilds bp in next 5 minutes so I wont be able to help you after that for 5 hours
