So ask them how they did it.
it was last updated like, 2019 era, i couldnt even download the right driver, i used one for WINDOWS 7. It was something like PhGdX or something, had to use Wayback machine just to try to download it, but after it finally succesfully installed, it just looked like i was using microsoft's basic display driver

$0 lol, im just looking for software for now, pretty soon i was thinking of making my ThinkPad 16Gb ram and preferabbly an SSD, i got that im OKAY... yeah i need a better cpu but well not much options for a thinkpad t520

You don’t? The chip is what it is. You’d need to upgrade the laptop. It’s not a desktop where you can just swap out the chip. Even then the platform is so old any upgrade would be pointless
I mean...... ive just done some optimizing.. i was just playing a resource heavy fnf mod and it did not go down 1 frame it just sat at 60

Enjoy the pc you have for the things that it is good at. For more demanding tasks look at saving the money for a more up to date and powerful computer..

Sandy bridge was good in its day and may still be competent for some tasks but it has been sadly left behind.
