Intel HD 400 VS NVIDIA® GeForce® GT650M graphics

I am a student majoring in CAD and Technical Design and I also do some music and video editing . There is a price diffrence so will i really make use of the NVIDIA® GeForce® GT650M graphic card or will the Intel HD 400 be okay for my needs. here is the computers i am looking into purchasing
with NVIDIA:

or what other recomendations do you have?
 
I'm saying this as a gamer NEVER BUY INTEL GRAPHICS! But for your Technical design stuff you won't need a lot of GPU power. For video editing GPU acceleration in programs like Sony Vegas makes rendering faster from my experience. My opinion is to get the one with the GT650M.
