Hi all
These are my system specs
Windows 8.1 Pro
Intel i5 4440 @ 3.1Ghz
Gigabyte H87M-D3H
8GB G Skill Ram @ 1600mhz
AMD 7750
Seagate Barracuda 500gb
Recently I downloaded the Intel Update utility 2.0 and ran the auto detect for drivers. It came up that my Intel 4600 was not up to date, so I downloaded it and installed the update. When asked to restart I did so and waited for the system to reboot. When I re-entered the update utility to ensure the driver was updated it came up that it was still not up to date. I checked all the versions and turns out it installs the old 10.18.10.3960 update rather than the new 15.36.7.64.3960.
I have tried doing the update manually through the Intel site with both the zip and .exe version, yet the same issue persists
I also tried through device manager with the updating from the file and still nothing changes.
At this point I am unsure as of what to do. Does anyone have the same issue or can help provide a solution?
The exact same thing happened on my laptop which is running Windows 7 Professional. Instead of the update being for graphics it was for the Pro Wireless drivers. I did all the same things and there is nothing working.
