I am planning to buy the Asrock H170M Pro4 with intel Core i5-6500T 4x 2,5 - 3,1GHz and iGPU HD530. I will run WIN 10 64bit. To the the HD530 I will connect the Samsung U24E590D 24-Inch LED 4K Monitor through the digital port. In addition, I want to connect to the HD530's HDMI port a Full HD TV. On the TV, I will run XBMC where I will choose the HDMI for video and sound output. Will I be able to have a split sound so that I can listen to the music on the PC and watch and listen to a movie on the TV at the same time without having to change the default sound settings? In my old system one GPU was not able to do it, it only split the video, and I needed a second GPU for the split sound and video output. So the question in summary: Do I need to build into my system a second graphics card for playing XBMC with sound and video on the TV, or will the built in HD530 be able to play different sound and video on the HDMI and the digital port at the same time?

You'd tell XBMC it's default audio device is the TV, and you set windows default audio device to your PC speakers/headset/monitor.

The multiple audio devices will appear in windows, and some programs will let you choose specific ones that aren't the default to play to.

There's no reason the integrated graphics shouldn't support multiple audio output devices.

XBMC does allow it. My question is: Does the HD530 support the option to play split sound and video through the digital port and the HDMI port at the same time? So if I select my default sound to come from the pc, but in XBMC to come from the HDMI, will the HD530 allow for that?
