So, I plan on upgrading my GPU to one of the new RTX series cards and the ones that I'm looking for don't have a DVI port, none of them do. So I thought, well I can just use my i7-7770k's built in Intel HD630 graphics to run my secondary 1080p 144hz monitor since I don't plan on using it for anything besides YouTube, Discord, etc. I had read several forums in the past of people saying that the HD630 graphics should be able to run at 144hz. Mine is currently at 60hz there is no option for anything higher. Here are my specs:

i7-7700k
GTX 1080
The Monitor in Question: Acer GN246HL
Motherboard: ASUS Z270 TUF Mark 2

Hd 630 dvi is only single link. It can run 144hz on other ports.
Ahhh then that's the main issue. The GN246HL doesn't support 144hz in anything other than dual link DVI. Any ideas on anything I could do possibly? At the end of the day, I only plan on really using the monitor for small stuff so enabling i-gpu multi monitor and keeping it at 60hz isn't that big of a deal. It's just after being on 144hz for so long 60hz legitimately makes my eyes hurt.
