intel hd graphics 3000 variable performance

Hey good day everyone, i hope someone can help me,though it's quite frustanting that nobody helps me when im in need, even when i try to help everybody with their problems jeje, well i have this problem, my intel hd 3000 have a variable performance, going from 30 fps to 5 fps in the same part of the game, it just goes up and down, like in a racing game, in the same part, almost randomly , sometimes it just run smoothly 30 fps and just some minute later runs a 5 fps, later it , like a minute after it goes up again to 30 and so on, know its a poor graphics card, but , if it can run it a 30, that means it can be working that speed! then why it goes down? maybe it is some bios problem but i cant find the newest version (even i cant give more than 32 MB of dedicated video! ) i dont know what to do, i have a dell N4110 with an intel i5 2410m proccesor , 6 gb ram, and win 8 64 bit, with the dell a12 bios.
With the bios agent software it says me my bios and videobios have more than 2 years outdated, but the thing dont tell me the name of the new bios to download, so i dont knowwhat to do, help me pleaseeeeee!!

Usually it's a temp issue with laptops. Use hwmonitor. You can also check to make sure it's not throttling with gpuz. Update your drivers if you haven't.

thank you! i know, i will never use again this card, but when i bought this laptop i was in a rush and i didn´t think well , but is too late to regret that, but i learned my lesson!

thank you for answering this fast =) and, well i do have updated all my drivers but this still happen. i have tought about the temp, is there a way to improve the coolness in a laptop? beside a fan base? aybe it is just to dirty. another thing that can be , is that i just can't set up the dedicated video memory in bios, in properties it's say i have just 32 MB dedicated, but there is so much Dell AXX BIOS that i dont know wich one to choose, and, well you know, i dont want a paperweight! thank you again..

let me check the temp and i tell you, and about the vios i have read everything, y have entered everywhere and there is no option where i can change that, i doublechecked! =( i think is the version of bios that dont let me

so yes it was the temp , it gave me about 83-85 degrees C , and without playing! so i opened it up and clean, you wouldnt believe how much dirt it had inside.. thank you , i hope you can help me with the bios. =D

If it doesn't have the option then you can't change it. The amount is dynamically controlled by how much you need so doesn't really matter anyways.

ok, it says its like 1800 MB, but with the cleaning it got alot better! Thank you men!
