I have a Lenovo H530 PC with an Intel HD Graphics 4400 GPU and a i3-4130 CPU. HD 4400 works on Windows 8.1 without a problem but not on XP.

I've tried 2 drivers (.3200 and .3222) from "drivers.softpedia.com", none of them work. When I install the driver by using the Device Manager after files are copied an error shows up "This device cannot start. (Code 10)". There is an exclamation mark on the driver symbol. I've uninstalled and installed the drivers. It says "This device isn't using any resources because it has a problem" in Resource tab

Windows XP is not supported on the H530, Lenovo never released any XP drivers for it. Indeed, XP was laid to rest long before the H530 was manufactured.

You can't run anything older than Windows 7 on it:

It's generally a good idea to check for drivers at the PC maker's website before you go sticking another Windows version on it.

If you don't like Windows 8.1 you'd have been better off upgrading for free to Windows 10 (which your model does support).

And this means that I must either use a VM or install Windows 7/8.1/10.
