I was looking at the Asus Radeon HD 7770 for a cheap video card and I was wondering, is there a visible difference in performance? The Radeon is about $58 right now, so I was wondering, should I get it? This is my first PC and it will be used for light gaming and dual-booting. Here are my specs right now:

Should I go for the graphics card or not? (I will be upgrading in the near future)

Solution
When you're planning to upgrade the card in the near future, then i would go without the radeon. The intel HD is not a gaming card, but why wasting ~60$ when you buy a new card soon?

Also, i'm not sure weather your psu is enough for everything + the card you will be buying soon. Your Board and your CPU look like you plan to overclock

the 7770 is leagues ahead of the 4400 integrated gpu and would be worth it even for light gaming.

you have a nice gaming build there minus the gpu. if your not gaming on this you can save some money and change come parts out and not see much performance difference. the cpu is for overclocking and so is the mobo, both can be changed for non oc parts for a big savings. either way i would change the psu out to something with a little more ooommmph. it will work for now but if you ever decide to add a better gpu, you will have to upgrade it anyway.

Yep :) I am going to go with a corsair 450W

Here's what I would do:

- drop down to a locked i5 4xxx
- Get a cheaper H97 motherboard
- Get the $50 1TB barracuda drive
- Try to get a better case, the NZXT Source 210 Elite and Corsair 200R are good options around $50. The SPEC series are cramped on the inside.
- Drop the 4 case fans, you don't need them.
- Upgrade the PSU to a decent 550W+ unit such as a XFX 550W PSU.

Used the saved money to get a better graphics card.
