Question Intel HD Graphics 5500 low performance

I've seen too many players can play Battlefield 4 with that GPU 768p medium preset for 25-30 FPS but i can only get 15 fps at low preset. What's wrong with that? Drivers are updated. They have 8GB RAM but i have 4GB. Can RAM affect performance of GPU? Thanks.

Battlefield 4 is pretty demanding on systems. I'm curious to learn where your source material for good FPS on the iGPU is...? What processor are you working with?

I3-5005U. They also have same config just only they have more RAM.

One youtube video shows Battlefield 4 on an Intel HD 5500 running at around 25 FPS with an i5-5200u. I would imagine you’d need at least an i5 to get to that fps

Yea getting a modern battlefield titles to run is going to be a struggle. Id expect this performance.

My problem he had same CPU with 8GB RAM and getting 25-30 FPS at medium preset but why i can't get same framerates? I've 4GB RAM. All drivers are updated. I've also gave vram for gpu with BIOS.

Ram also could have an effect. Demanding battlefield titles arent going to like to run on the sliver of of ram left over after your igpu and windows take some of your 4gb.

Ram using 3920 MB. It also causing drops and makes game unplayable.

I dont think you can play Battlefield 4 on that laptop. A ram upgrade could help since you are likely hitting the pagefile every time your ram maxes out, causing massive performance issues.

Get another 4 GB of RAM running in dual channel and try it then.
