Intel HD Graphics issues

I've been playing the game Halo 2 Vista recently on two different computers, a tablet and Intel NUC. Both are running on Intel HD Graphics 4200 and 5000 respectively. However, while playing Halo 2, I see lines, outlining the polygons on textures, usually shiny or glowing textures, constantly flash. It looks almost like the game is running in a hybrid of wireframe and regular graphics mode. Why is this happening?

I have had the same thing on my computer. I don't know why, just try reinstalling intel graphics drivers. There could be some issues with it.

I'm already running the latest Intel HD Graphics drivers though. I've actually had similar issues like this back when I played Halo 1 PC on an Intel GMA PC. Could this be some kind of flaw with all Intel GPU's going as far back as GMA?

So, my old laptop had this problem while I played games like WOW and CS:GO, and it was running intel graphics. This could be an intel problem, but it could also be something else. I am not completely sure. Something that helped was playing around with the graphics settings on my games, reducing random green pentagons and lines.

I remember reading somewhere that early Intel GMA's had issues with tessellation or something like that. But I figured Intel would've fixed those problems by now, considering the HD Graphics 5000 is a pretty decent GPU for an IGP.

Just try messing around with your computer settings, in game or out, to see if you can fix the problem or at the very least reduce random pentagons.
