Hi all,
I'm purchasing a travel laptop machine that comes with the option to have either a Celeron 3215U or i3-5015U for the processor. I know that the i3 is a better processor overall. But there is a $100 price difference between the two, which is a bit hefty if it won't be a big difference in the end.
The rest of the specs on the machine are such:
- 13.3-Inch Full HD IPS Display (1920x1080)
- 4 GB RAM / 16 GB Solid-State Drive
- LED-Backlit Keyboard
- 802.11 A/C
- USB 3.0
- Bluetooth 4.0
- various other components but none worth mentioning for this
So...is it worth the extra $100 for the i3 processor with the extra threads and cores? As I said, it's a travel machine, mainly going to be used while I travel and edit documents, web browse, check emails, stream Netflix and Spotify, and other various needs such as Skype calls once in a while. Any and all opinions are welcome!
Thank you in advance for your opinions and suggestions!
