Looking for a new gaming cpu, motherboard.
Which has the best price to perfomance ratio? Intel or Ryzen?
Also, which combo is cheaper? Intel+mobo or Ryzen+mobo?
Ryzen has better value for money currently as it is pretty good in gaming as well as multitasking. The Ryzen 1600 along with the MSI Tomahawk or Asus b350 Prime are killer combos currently running hot in the market. It has very good price to performance ration.
i want a cheap mobo, not gonna overclock, one gpu and max 32gb ram
Those boards are pretty good value for money. I didnt recommend them for overclocking specifically, but for the features they adorn at that kind of price point as well as their quality. 32gb is RAM is overkill, 16gb is more than enough for any need in the coming few years unless you are big time programmer or content creator.

Ryzen 1600 is best bang for the buck with 6 cores and comes with decent cooler good for decent OC. Go to newegg and search for Ryzen 1600 combo. You may find CPU+MB combo for 10-30 discount. Not sure about tomahawk, it has both good and bad reviews. I got Ryzen 1600 and MSI b350m gaming pro for $25 dicount several weeks ago.
i3s and i5s don't make a whole lot of sense to buy right now, the only compelling processors for Intel right now are the G4560 and the 7700(k). For anything in between those, the 1400 and 1600 are the best values.

Even the b350 Gaming Pro has mixed reviews, that doesnt make it a bad board. You have to consider the fact that the Tomahawk has a larger proportion of bad reviews because it sells more for the additional features it gives over most of the other boards. I have already overclocked a 1600 on that board and it runs like butter. 😀

Agreed, so I say not sure My B350M gaming pro is OCing 1600 good as well ~

I'm between ryzen 5 1500x and i5-7500. I think I might go with ryzen.
You may want to wait a couple of weeks to see what the new i5 8600k will bring to the market. Intel has a better IPC and better single threaded performance than AMD chips. While AMD crushes Intel in multithreaded workloads. The new i5 will be 6 core with no hyperthreading, so it will have fewer threads than the 1600. But most games don't scale to thread count. Games like really fast single threaded performance and this is why Intel CPUs get better fps than AMD.
AMD chips have a wonderful value. Just because Intel has better fps in games, does not mean that the Ryzen chips are bad. They are very good and they are priced much cheaper than Intel. If you perform any workstation type task, then AMD is the way to go.
If I were building a machine today, it would be hard to pass on the 1600. But the new i5s may change that.

If your not gonna overclock, you will do better by getting the 7500. Or even save more money and get a G4560 with a cheap mobo and spend the money you save on more games.

Note - These are just ideas about what kind of parts to look for at what price points.
Thanks for the builds. I already have a case, psu, hdd, gpu. I am not going for 32gb, I meant 32 max capacity, anyway i think i will go with r5 1500x,Asus - PRIME B350M(most likely) and will find some good 8gb ddr4 ram. I can only buy on amazon. I don't know if outlet ships to Turkey.
