Intel i3 question

Ok so got a quick question. I have a asus 6870 gpu and the i3 with Intel integrated and I am wondering if I need to leave all of the Intel drivers installed.

I don't know 100% as I don't have one but I would say leave the Intel drivers alone. Just install the discrete GPU.
I am sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it depends on the motherboard chip set as to if you can access the Intel quick sync with a dedicated GPU installed.

Either way I wouldn't touch any of the Intel stuff personally.

Have a i5-2410m laptop which also has a 540m dedicated GPU, I have both drivers loaded. When in 2D app the HD300 is used, for 3D the Nvidia is used. This is not the case with Desktops, but as mactronix poited out may need if you use quick sync.

I keep them installed on my desktop just for backup. It doesn't hurt anything and space isn't an issue.
