Intel i5 2400 and GTX 780?

Alright currently, my gaming pc is missing one thing, a good graphic card. Currently i have a terrible graphic card, which is GeForce GT 610. And it's just terrible. Anyway, these are my machine info:
GPU: GeForce GT 610
CPU: Intel i5-2400 3.10GHz
Memory: 8GB of ram.

My point is, is upgrading my graphic card to GTX 680 will run games at decent fps? I am not sure if i can get the GTX 780, but if i get any of those graphic cards, will i run games at decent fps? Like maybe medium on 50-55 fps?

[I am going to buy the graphic card tomorrow, answers will be HIGHLY appreciated. Thank you]

the 680 is a decent card, high settings most games, some ultra


the gtx 780 is a very powerful card

make sure your power supply is good enough to power either card and has the needed pcie cables
