Intel i5 3rd gen

OK i have a Lga 1155 mobo so i need a 2/3 gen i5 trouble is i cant seem to find one for £50/60
I have searched on ebay/amazon and they retail for above £100 which is absurd for such a old cpu, Anyone know a place where i could get one, I'm not bothered about clock-speeds, and cache just need a quad core above 3Ghz. Your help will be really appreciated guys

The thing about buying used stuff is availability and pricing are completely unpredictable. You need to be persistent and patient. Also, if these CPUs are selling, but not at the price you want, maybe that means you are being unreasonable in your expectations, not that the sellers are asking too much?

The reason these older i5's cost £100 still is that they perform like a new £100 CPU, and there's still demand for them. They cost that much for the exact reason you want one.

I understand where your coming from but i saw a £50 one but didnt get it in time also i really dont care if there used
