intel i5-4210U processor

i accidently opened 'msconfig' in my pc and switched 'the number of cores' option which was actually '12' as default was made to '2 ',my bad and i clicked on apply after that my pc started to work very slow .
my pc configuration is
1.intel i5 4210U 1.7 GHz
2.nvidia GeForce
3.Windows 8.1 single language
4.Hp Notebook
anyone please find a solution for it as soon as possible

Boot into safe mode and change the settings back in msconfig.
