Intel i5 4460 or AMD Fx 8350?

They cost about the same in my country. Im primarily going to game on them. Arma 3, bf4 etc

The Core i5 4460 will have better performance in every game.
The FX-8350 may come out ahead in some applications that can make full use of all 8 cores.
The Core i5 4460 is a much better choice for gaming, and it uses considerably less power and produces considerably less heat as well.

Definitely go with an i5 if gaming is your main thing. Both Arma 3 and BF4 are quite a CPU heavy.

The I5 is the better CPU only gaming benefit the FX has is if you record your games then the extra cores come in handy and you see less reduction in fps.

If used only for gaming then go for i5 4460.

If you're gonna use it for gaming, running many applications at once, etc then go for FX-8350.

Also depends on the resolution you'll be gaming at (720p, 1080p, 4K, etc.), if there is any price difference between the Intel/AMD motherboards, & what your total budget is.

If the boards are also pretty much identical in price (& I mean within $25-50 USD or equivalent), then go with the Intel because cost isn't a factor. If the margin is greater (especially if it's over $100 USD), then going AMD means you can get a more powerful GPU, possibly combine an SSD and HDD in your build, maybe add additional RAM, etc.
