will i5 6500 bottlnecking my games on first monitor if i run some programs on the second monitor like (chrome, skype or even photoshop/coreldraw) at the same time?
the games will be run on ultra/or high setting at full HD. GPU is gtx 980.
are the i7 6700 overkill my setup ?

Solution
The CPU should be enough for a dual monitor setup, assuming that what you are running does not overuse the CPU. Photoshop is quite an intensive program (Adobe stuff in general), but with chrome or skype it should run fine since multi screen set ups are more dependent on the GPU. However, you should be reminded that no matter what CPU you get, if you run huge applications on the seperate monitor you will receive performance penalties.
Also, since you are running a duel monitor set up, I do recommend at least the I5 6600 or even the I7 6700, as having a lower end I5 Skylake will inevitably bottleneck the high-end 980. While not by much (5-10 fps in most games on single monitor setups), it will be more noticeable with the double monitors...

Solution

As I said before, it will only be a difference of around 5-10 fps max for most games. The I5 can run most games (excluding games like witcher, crysis, GTA V etc) at max graphics at 60 fps anyways, so if you will only be getting more than needed by upgrading assuming you only use a 60 Hz monitor.
There will definitely not be games that are unplayable on the system, as you can simply reduce the graphics it the fps does hit below a comfortable threshold.

ok thank you for the answers sir.
oh yeah 1 more question, will it worth to buy the lga1151 motherboard ? i mean about its features againt the predecessor.
because i rather pick the intel Xeon E3 1231v3. E3 1231v3 = i7 4790 with less cost, though it's lga1150. and yes i know Intel will refresh their Xeon lineup too to the lga1151 but the problem on my country, i think they will never bring in the Xeon E3 1230v5.
so will i really lose the valuable features that lga1151 motherboard have if i choose the e3 1231v3 ?
