I was planning to upgrade my desktop for much smoother performance, but i was hit by the idea of buying a laptop which gives a similar performance to the upgrades I'm gonna have and portability. Also i could use it as a desktop by connecting it to a monitor. Okay now i found the perfect one! That suits my needs! The "Acer Swift 3". Here in india it costs about almost 70k for the i5-8250u version. But i could buy it from abroad for about 48k! I could save a 20k if i buy it from abroad (Kuwait). But now I'm confused! Here really is the question. There is a i7-8550u version of the same model is available! for about 60k with same config except the processor. It almost cost 12k more than the i5 version. I do game a lot but not the AAA graphic freak! I do use PS, Premier and Studio, App developing, movies etc... 12k is a big save for me, if the i5 version can do all of these things smoothly that i mentioned above. So which one to buy?
