My budget is $500 I already have
Case
video card
Ram
Hard drive from my old system
What I need is a new cpu I will never over clock so I don't need the 230 dollar cpu. I multy task and play World of warcraft and some Bf3 I need a decent motherboard cpu and power supply that is haswell ready I want my system to be feture prof meaning I can upgrade to a i7 later down the road

if you never plan to overclock then you'll need a high clock speed cpu... the best one i can get you is this one

that will outperform any stock i5 in 99% of games. now if you plan to eventually overclock then we can talk i5s.

Do you already have Windows 7 or 8?

I wouldn't go with an i3. I would much rather have a quad core i5 than a dual core with a high clock.

Not sure exactly what you mean (using same copy?), but if you have a retail copy then you would be able to transfer it. If you can get that to work and don't need Windows, I recommend a build like this:

You could get a cheaper motherboard, but these are all quality components listed. The 600W PSU isn't needed with your GPU, but it should allow some flexibility if you decide to upgrade it in the future, plus, it is only $10 more than a 500W of the same model.
