Hi guys so i like to find cheap bargains try my best to get lowest price lol. so i came across a 1st gen i7 custom built pc tower so i couldnt help myself so i bought it for £49gbp/$64 usd
specs are follwing. Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard with Nvidia Quadro FX1800 HD graphics card
XFX Pro650W power supply unit
dvd rw drive. seagate hardrive 200gb hard drive. 12gb ddr3 ram. it processor is i7 920 im just thinking if i put a decent graphic card could it run games on medium if not i can still use the parts like the case and power supply and dvdrw drive for future build. overall do you guys think the price was worth it?.

For work im running a Asus rampage 3 extreme X58, i7-980x, 12Gb of ram, 3 GTX 780Ti. I have Gamed on it before but mostly run Fusion 360, Solidworks 2014, and NX 12 it handles everything just fine for me.

The 920 is a good overclocker, i had a 950 for a few years before upgrading that was a screamer of a OC. You can also check into a Xeon cpu to get a 6 core just make sure your on the latest bios for the board. I went from the 950 to X5690 to 980x, the 980x was a better OC'r then the x5690.
